For parents and families
Your tutor uses LessonWrap
It’s how your tutor keeps track of lessons, homework and payments. You don’t need an account, and there’s nothing to install.
What you might get from us
Your tutor chooses what to send. Emails come from LessonWrap with your tutor’s name on them, and your replies go straight to your tutor.
- Lesson summaries: what was covered and any homework.
- Invoices, receipts and payment reminders: what you owe and how to pay. You pay your tutor directly; LessonWrap never handles your money.
- Joining links for online lessons, shortly before each one.
Your tutor may also give you a printed progress report showing what’s been covered and how things are going.
Your family page
Some tutors share a private page with each family. On it you can see upcoming lessons, lesson summaries, open homework and what’s owed, and ask to move or cancel a lesson or book an extra one. Your tutor approves any change. Depending on your tutor, you may also be able to book from times they have open, download worksheets and send back completed work, or see a prepaid lesson pack’s balance.
- The first time you open it on a new phone or computer, we email your family a code to check it’s you.
- Keep the link within your family. If it gets shared by mistake, ask your tutor to replace it.
- It never shows your tutor’s private notes, or anything about other families.
Choosing which emails you get
Every email ends with a link where you choose what to keep getting: lesson summaries, invoices and payment reminders, lesson reminders, or joining links. No sign-in is needed, and you can change your mind any time. If you have a family page, the same choices are on it.
Your information
- Your tutor decides what to record and looks after it. To see, correct or delete it, ask your tutor; they can do it in LessonWrap straight away.
- We never sell records, show ads or use them for marketing.
- Can’t reach your tutor? Email support@lessonwrap.com and we’ll help, usually by passing your request on to them.
